RADIATOR HOSES: Let's go through the steps involved in changing a radiator hose. I have repositioned the car here so that it will be easier for you to see removing the radiator hose. To remove the radiator hose, we'll first need to loosen up the hose clamp that holds the hose to the flange. Once that's loose, take and twist the hose to break the seal from the flange and then remove the hose at the flange. Do the same for the other end of the hose and make sure the engine is cool before changing any hoses. Don't forget to add coolant to the proper level after changing any radiator hoses. Replacement is the reverse of the procedure. If the coolant reservoir level is continually low, check for leaks or coolant stains around the entire radiator, hoses and water pump. Replace any leaky parts. If the problem continues, have your mechanic pressure test the radiator.
